Placa de propaganda doméstica, 1955 — Año del Benefactor de la Patria. Cada hogar dominicano estaba obligado a exhibir una placa de este tipo. La ausencia podía significar sospecha, interrogatorio o algo peor.
Domestic propaganda plaque, 1955 — Year of the Benefactor of the Fatherland. Every Dominican household was required to display a plaque of this kind. Its absence could mean suspicion, interrogation, or worse.

Uno de los dos únicos sobrevivientes del grupo que asesinó a Trujillo. Fue condecorado como héroe nacional y llegó a ser general del ejército dominicano.
One of only two survivors from the group that assassinated Trujillo. He was decorated as a national hero and rose to become a general in the Dominican army.
